Job Description: 
  • Design and Analysis:

    • Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create detailed 2D and 3D models of mechanical components and systems.
  • Prototyping and Testing:
    • Develop prototypes of mechanical systems or components for testing and evaluation.
    • Conduct testing, experiments, and validation to refine designs and ensure functionality.
  • Material Selection:
    • Choose appropriate materials based on performance requirements, cost, and durability.
  • Manufacturing Support:
    • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of designed components.
    • Provide guidance and support during the manufacturing process to address any issues that may arise.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and technicians.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive records of design changes, test results, and project documentation.
    • Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that designs meet industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
    • Implement quality control measures to identify and address defects or issues in mechanical systems.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay current with advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and techniques.
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in existing products or processes.
