Packaging Manager

Packaging Process Management:

•     Develop and implement packaging processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
•     Monitor and control packaging equipment to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
•     Evaluate and recommend improvements in packaging materials, methods, and equipment.

Quality Assurance:

•     Oversee quality control checks to ensure products are packaged according to specifications and meet quality standards.
•     Address and resolve packaging related quality issues promptly.
•     Implement and maintain quality assurance programs.

Team Management:

•     Recruit, train, and supervise packaging staff, including machine operators, quality control inspectors, and packers.
•     Foster a collaborative and safety conscious work environment.
•     Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

•     Maintain proper inventory levels of packaging materials.
•     Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely availability of packaging supplies.
•     Monitor and optimize packaging costs to meet budget targets.

Compliance and Safety:

•     Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
•     Conduct safety training for packaging personnel and enforce safety protocols.
•     Maintain accurate records related to safety and compliance.

Documentation and Reporting:

•     Maintain records of packaging specifications, production volumes, and quality control data.
•     Prepare regular reports on packaging performance, including efficiency, waste reduction, and quality metrics.

Continuous Improvement:

•     Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
•     Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline packaging operations.
